Which Console Should You Buy This Christmas

With Christmas coming ever so closer, many children will be asking their parents for a new games console. But which one will please your kids this Christmas? With the Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 all competing for your sales, which one should you buy?

Lets begin with the Xbox 360. After a price cut in September, you can pick up an Xbox 360 for £130, this makes it the cheapest of all 3 of the consoles. But, for the £130 you only get the arcade system which does not comes with a hard drive, so, what about the console bundles. For the arcade system, you can get the console, 3 games and 2 controllers for around £160. As for the premium console, you can get a premium console which includes a 60GB hard drive, 3 games and 2 controllers for around £200. And if you want to go the full way and get the Xbox 360 Elite console which comes with a 120GB hard drive aswell as special high definition cables, you can geta which includes 3 games and 2 controllers for £260.

Overall, the Xbox is a great console with many Xbox exclusive games. Plus with a huge online community, it's a great console for any family.

Next, the Nintendo Wii. The Nintendo Wii is a great family console, it features a wide range of fun family games to keep your family playing for hours. The standard console will cost £180 and for a bundle, which contains the console, 2 controllers, 2 nunchucks and 4 games, £270.

Overall the Nintendo Wii is a good console, it's not like any other console on the market and has a huge range of family fun and single play games for all ages.

The last console is the Playstation 3, it's the newest and the most exspensive of the 3. The Xbox 360 is very similar to the Playstation 3, however, the Playstation contains a Blu-ray DVD player, allowing you to play Blu-ray DVDs. Also, within the last few days, Sony released their new Playstation Home, a new online community for all Playstation owners.

As for the price, the standard console which has a 40GB hard drive included will cost just under £300. As for a bundle, you can get an 80GB Playstation with 4 games for around £300.

Obviously the Playstation is the most exspensive, but value for money, I would not say it's worth it. Although the console is similar to the Xbox, the Playstation has less exlcusive content than the Xbox.

Finally, I would say that the Xbox 360 is the best console if you're playing solo and for online gaming, but if you are after a more family console, the Nintendo Wii is the best.

Caribbean Holidays and All Inclusive Holidays are perfect for this Winter.
