What's Wrong With Need For Speed Undercover?

Although the latest Need For Speed game has got some poor reviews so far, I don't see the problem with it.

I got the game yesterday and haven't stopped playing it since, it's great! With the great 'Most Wanted' game and then the poor 'ProStreet' title, the Need For Speed games needed a lift. And I believe that the newest 'Need For Speed' game is that lift.

The game starts rather sudden, the opening movie sceen throws you straight into the driving action, so make sure that you're not in the middle of a drink, like I was, when you start the game.

Overall. the game is similar to one of the previous titles, 'Most Wanted', with alot of cop chases and many high speed, action packed street races.

However, the thing that makes this game better than 'Most Wanted' is the brilliant graphics and realistic new cars. With a new set of cars that include the Pagani Zonda F, you can race around the streets at a lightening speed.

Even though the storyline and graphics are brilliant, there are some downsides to the game. Firstly, the AI not great, within every race there are some fast drivers that aim for the win and wille stop at nothing to beat you, and then there are the annoying slow ones that all they try and do is hold you up or take you out by pushing you into a wall. For the first few tries of a tough race, you will end up restarting due to the annoying AI.

Although the game has it's downsides, the overall play is brilliant, it's a mix of 'Burnout Paradise' and 'Need For Speed: Most Wanted', and both of those games were great fun to play. The only thing I can advise is that when EA come to make their next 'Need For Speed' title, they spend some extra time on the AI. Overall I would give the game 8.5/10
